Embedded Firmware Engineer
Requirements:
Experience in software development for microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex-A, Cortex-M, PIC, or DSPs.
Experience with low-level device drivers for SPI, I2C, and PWM for various SOCs.
Expert knowledge of C/C++ in an embedded software environment.
Must possess detailed knowledge of Linux Device Drivers, subsystems, and Linux Environment.
Experience with microcontroller RTOS like FreeRTOS/uCos/emboss/azure-RTOS etc.
Experience with debugging and troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of software integration for complex SOC from vendors like TI, NXP, Infineon, Renesas, Microchip, SiLabs, and ST Micro.
Experience on SOC Board bring-up and boot.
Experience with low-level drivers for complex SOC including Flash, DDR, and peripherals.
JTAG-based hardware emulators, Hardware debugging tools e.g., Oscilloscope, Logic analyzers, Protocol Analyzers, Kernel debugging tools e.g., ftrace, GIT, Subversion, GIT-based code maintaining tools e.g., GitLab.
Structured development processes where requirements analysis is performed, user stories, acceptance criteria, test strategies, and traceability techniques are incorporated.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping, trace capture tools, debuggers
Experience with automated build and test automation systems
Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Perl/Bash etc.
Familiarity with work management systems such as JIRA and version control systems such as git.
Qualifications
BTech/MTech ECE/CSE/EE/IC and associated branches
Work experience of 3-6 years

Hardware Design Engineer
Requirements:
Product Design and Development
Responsible for the design, development, and support of new and existing hardware products.
Manage the design process from conceptual design, parts selection, design simulation, detailed design, and schematic capture, to PCB design rules creation.
Coordinate with layout teams to ensure adherence to guidelines during PCB design and manufacturing.
Lead prototype builds with contract manufacturers and manages product bring-up, debugging, and verification.
Testing and Support
Execute test protocols, document results, and provide feedback for improvement of existing products.
Support environmental testing and entry into production phases for hardware systems.
Provide on-site support for customer-related activities, including demos, training, installation, and troubleshooting field issues.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Collaborate with software, mechanical, and other departments as part of daily board design practices to maintain inter-departmental communication.
Work closely with the design and layout teams to support board layout, system bring-up, and verification.
Involve in customer-facing activities such as demos, installation, and field issue resolution.
Continuous Innovation
Be an integral part of the Hardware Design Team, driving new ideas for product development and offering feedback to improve existing systems.
Preferred Skills:
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of electronic hardware, circuit theory, and electronic devices.
Experience in power electronics, mixed-signal electronics, and experimental engineering techniques.
Experience designing analog and digital circuits, including microcontrollers and communication interfaces (UART, RS232, SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN bus, etc.).
Have a good understanding of active and passive filters, feedback loops, ADCs, DACs, MOSFETs, and transistors, and their industrial applications in sensors and circuits.
Proficiency with PCB design tools like Altium, and high-speed schematic capture.
Hands-on experience with lab tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, protocol analyzers for debugging and testing, etc.
Experience designing analog interfaces for sensors, signal conditioning, and working with ADC circuits.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, datasheets, and engineering instructions.
Design and Testing Knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot embedded boards/systems and develop supporting documentation for layout practices and test procedures.
Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and experience with EMC testing for compliance is a plus.
Familiarity with product certification processes and handling testing at EMC/Safety labs.
Should be able to understand and read designs of previous products, new product devkits, and testing units.
Communication and Collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas and designs effectively.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with software, mechanical, and layout teams.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex design tasks independently with minimal guidance.
Additional Skills
Knowledge of C programming is an advantage.
Design knowledge in analog and digital video interfacing is a plus.
Experience in high-speed layout designs and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Hardware Lab Technician
Requirements:
Testing and Troubleshooting
Assist project teams in testing circuit board assemblies, wire harnesses, and basic electronic circuits.
Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and test electronic components and systems based on provided drawings, instructions, or schematics.
Test and analyze Analog and digital circuits, using Logic Analyzers, Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.
Perform in-process checks, record findings against set parameters, and document results on production and quality check sheets.
Report incidents, faulty operations, or product defects on the assembly line to management for prompt resolution.
Assembly and Inspection
Follow established procedures to ensure the smooth assembly of components on the production line, adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Assemble fabricated PCBs by soldering fine-pitch SMD and Through-hole components.
Inspect assembled products to identify faults or defects and take corrective actions as required.
Perform maintenance tasks on electronic components, troubleshooting and resolving assembly problems to ensure proper operation.
PCB Layout Design and Routing
Contribute to basic PCB layout design and board routing; assist the layout team with component library and symbols.
Lab Maintenance and Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hardware lab environment by following safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
Ensure tools and equipment are operational through preventive maintenance, following manufacturer guidelines, and calling for repairs when necessary.
Maintain the tool management system and inventory by checking supply levels, placing material orders, and verifying the receipt of new supplies.
Process Improvement
Actively contribute to improving the production process by reporting near-miss incidents, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions.
Participate in continuous training to stay updated with the latest safety protocols and best practices in electronics manufacturing and lab operations.
Preferred Skills:
Technical Skills
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, datasheets, and engineering instructions.
Hands-on experience with soldering, de-soldering fine pitch SMD and through-hole components, splicing, and crimping of electronic components and wires, and creating testing PCBs and test benches.

Knowledge of basic electronic components, current-carrying capacities of wires, and their practical applications in assembly.
Production and Maintenance
Experience in handling and managing production processes, performing in-process checks, and troubleshooting assembly issues.
Proficiency in maintaining equipment and performing preventive maintenance tasks following manufacturer guidelines.
Familiarity with inventory management and tool organization in a lab or manufacturing environment.
Soft Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
High level of personal integrity, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset in all aspects of work.
Qualifications
A diploma in Electrical Engineering or completion of an Electronics Technology certificate program (ITI).
Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial experience working on a manufacturing assembly line or in electronics.
